Dear PAPY-list members,


I would like to draw your attention to the attached job description, a 
3-year 65% position as doctoral research associate at the University of 
Würzburg working as part of a team led by Prof. Dr. Rene Pfeilschifter 
on the DFG project LoSAM (/Lokale Selbstorganisierung, urbane 
Zivilgesellschaft und kirchliche Geltungsansprüche: Alexandreia und 
Antiocheia im Römischen Reich/), looking at local governance and 
associations in Alexandria from the first to the seventh centuries CE.

The position will begin on 1 April 2019, and require a good knowledge of 
Latin and Greek. The deadline for applications is *31 January 2019*, and 
applications must be sent by post to the address indicated in the 
attached PDF.
