BES 2018 SPRING MEETING: ROME, 5 MAY.

  The British Epigraphy Society will be holding its 2018 Spring Meeting
in the eternal city - Rome, on 5 May.

  The meeting is organised by Prof. Silvia Orlandi, and generously
supported by the Museo Nazionale Romano, which is hosting the meeting.

  Speakers include Drs Gianfranco Agosti, Francesca Bigi, Flavia Frauzel,
Marco Maiuro and Daniele Maras. There will also be a guided tour of the
epigraphic collection in the Museo Nazionale Romano, by Dr Carlotta
Caruso, as well as a presentation of the mobile app enabling the visual
recognition of the inscriptions displayed in the museum, by Dr Giuseppe
Amato.

  The meeting is preceded by a special lecture on the Friday evening (4
May) by Prof. Filippo Coarelli on 'Roman Topography and Military
Diplomas'.
