mit dem Thema: ''Neutral subgroups and bounded representations of locally
compact groups''

Abstract:
We introduce the concept of a neutral subgroup of a topological group and
discuss its relevance to the existence of a  uniform structure on
homogeneous spaces on which the group acts uniformly equicontinuous. We then
show that in the case of locally compact groups for subgroups being neutral
is a kind of compactnes condition. In particular stabilizer subgroups of a
uniformly bounded representation of a connected Lie group turn out to be
neutral.
