EINLADUNG

zu einem Vortrag

im Rahmen der Arbeitsgruppe Differentialgeometrie und des Mathematischen
Kolloquiums

von Dr. Cornelia Vizman
(West University of Timisoara, Department of Mathematics, Romania)

mit dem Titel: "THE TWISTED FLUX HOMOMORPHISM"

Abstract: The geometric flux homomorphism was introduced by Calabi for a
symplectic manifold, and further developed for the volume form (Thurston),
symplectic case (Banyaga, McDuff, Ono), Poisson case (Rybicki), locally
conformal symplectic case (Haller, Rybicki) and symlectic groupoids (Xu).
The abstract flux assoiated to a Lie algebra cocycle was introduced by Neeb
in connection with abelian Lie group extensions.
In the first part of this talk, a short survey on the flux homomorphism
(restricting only to the degree two case) in both settings: geometric and
abstract, will be presented together with the relation between them. Also
its extension, the flux 1-cocyvle, will be described.
In the second part, the flux homomorphism for locally conformal symplectic
manifolds (involving the twist by a closed 1-form) will be extended to the
flux homomorphism twisted by a flat connection 1-form. In the end the
abstract twisted flux will be introduced. For this the notion of abstract
logarithmic derivative (associated to a Lie group action on a Lie group by
group homomorphism), generalizing the usual logarithmic derivative of a Lie
group valued function, is needed.
